Creation Kingdom Zoo began with a sincere desire to share our knowledge and expertise of the animal kingdom with the general public while also sharing the most recent scientific discoveries regarding where life all began. Although we had worked with animals for many years, one year ago we were impressed to join forces with our associates in the zoo community and build a zoo founded on the pillars of Genesis. Our advisory panel was formed from business leaders from all walks of life around the country and discussion ensued about how to tackle this project. Everyone agreed that sometimes in life things are placed in our paths that force us to redirect our walk or refocus our vision, and this is where Creation Kingdom Zoo began. While Snowflake, Virginia is not a normal location for a zoo, we felt it was the perfect location. The rural setting helped to enforce the idea of a slower paced, stress free day away from the normal hustle and bustle. The business of life sometimes blurs our focus until our priorities are out of line and we're serving the wrong master. As the Zoo continues to grow and new exhibits added, we hope you and your family leave here with a better understanding of the animal kingdom, science and even yourself.
